Position Summary
We are looking for a Rockstar individual with a good understanding of the agriculture value chain for fruits and vegetables and shall be having practical experience of working and dealing with the farmers.
Job Functions
- Develop and maintain a farmer supply base that aligns with the company needs and future opportunities for sourcing of fruits and vegetables
- Maintain, grow, and strengthen relationships with Farmers, obtain information about produce availability, place orders, communicate prices, and provide regular feedback for quality issues
- Provide coverage across all fresh produce in the assigned area
- Ability to communicate the company values and mission to farmers community for increasing the network of farmers on the sourcing side
- Shall be providing regular updates to the company for the problems faced by the Farmers in the assigned area in their agriculture practices and providing the innovative solutions for their resolution

- Educated to Bachelors level (or equivalent) within a subject relevant to the position such as agriculture or related field.
- Knowledge of Fresh produce varieties, growing practices, quality standards and seasonality
- Outstanding relationship building skills; ability to manage strong Farmer relationships
- Self-motivated, highly organized team player
- Effective time management skills
- An entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
